Concern Primary Debating.

This year our school took part in the Concern Primary  inter-schools debating competition. Children from the senior room were invited to join the school team. While this has been a relatively recent initiative, our teams have gone from strength to strength.

Our debating team were up against Bunscoil Loreto and Danescastle N.S in this year’s competition.

The motions on the table were:

1. All children in Ireland should have the right to a local playground.
2. Getting rid of plastic pollution in our oceans is just a dream.

Our team always put up an excellent argument, their hard work in preparing for each debate was clear to see. They did themselves and our school proud.
