Mainstream and Learning Support Classrooms

All our classrooms are all very bright, airy and spacious.

Our classrooms are fully equipped for ICT, with an interactive whiteboard and a computer workstation in each room.

Outdoor play facilities

We are lucky to have wonderful space around the school for children’s play during school breaks. The schoolyard is behind the school, and there is also a large basketball/tennis court beside the building which is fully fenced and secure. There is a full acre of land behind the present yard that is used as a football/hurling pitch by the children.
There is a specialised playground to the rear of the school which is equipped with a climbing frame which includes a ladder, climbing wall, slide and fire-man’s pole. It also has a bouncing see-saw and is used by the smaller children. The playground is entirely enclosed by secure fencing and both has a soft, child friendly surface.

Galbally Sports and Leisure Centre

While the school itself does not have a general purpose hall, it has the use of Galbally Sports and Leisure Centre which is opposite the school. The committee there are very generous and the facility is always available to us. We are delighted to use the Centre for various activities such as P.E., gymnastics, indoor hurling/football coaching, concerts and nativity plays and of course many and varied parties!
